A method statement of the installation of anchor bolt should be developed to make sure that the process is true against the approved drawing and the most important, it should be within the safe working condition.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the method statement for installation of anchor bolts.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Construction Manager<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0The Construction Manager is overall responsible for the implementation of method statement of anchor bolts fixation and ensures that his team of Engineers and foremen are aware of this method statement and all resources \u2013 human, material and equipment are available to carry out the work as planned and without any delay.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Project Engineer<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Provide his site engineer with approved drawings.<br \/>\n\u2022 Follow up the site team to use approved materials.<br \/>\n\u2022 To ensure all the required equipment, tools and manpower are available on the site.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor the fixation of the anchor bolts.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">QA\/QC Engineer<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Ensure that the site team is using approved drawings.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that the used materials are approved.<br \/>\n\u2022 Check the fixed anchor bolts in the temporary plywood plate are as per approved drawings such as diameter, number, location and the space between each anchor bolt.<br \/>\n\u2022 Check with surveyor the required level for the anchor bolts during fixation stage.<br \/>\n\u2022 Check the alignment and level of the anchor bolts.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that anchor bolts are covered properly after fixing and approval before concrete.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare the inspection request and the checklist for the anchor bolts fixing.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure the level of anchor bolts after casting the neck columns.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Safety Officer<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Ensure that all equipment are properly maintained and in safe working conditions.<br \/>\n\u2022 Follow up all the safety precautions during anchor bolts preparation and fixing such as wearing helmet, safety shoes, overalls, gloves, and vests.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that the working area is barricaded and protected during the work.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Site Engineer<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Follow the approved drawings for fix the anchor bolts.<br \/>\n\u2022 Instruct the manpower for fixing the anchor bolts.<br \/>\n\u2022 Follow up the level and the alignment of the anchor bolts during fixation.<br \/>\n\u2022 Follow up the work to be ready for inspection.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare a daily report for the complete area of anchor bolts fixing to the project engineer.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Foreman<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Get the instructions to start fixing from site engineer.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Distribute the labors for the site works.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Supervise the labors productivity and their works.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Prepare all the required tools for the fixing<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Supervise the labors during fixing<\/p>\n<h3>8. Methodology<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.1 Use approved drawings for work preparation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.2 Use approved materials as per approved drawings such as anchor bolts length, diameter, number, and location.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.3 To fix the anchor bolts prepare a temporary wooden plate contains holes relevant to the diameter, location and number of anchor bolts as per approved drawings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.4 Fix the bolts in the temporary wooden plate accurately.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.5 Prepare the axis in the top of the neck columns in order to fix the anchor bolts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.6 After survey works, start fixing the temporary wooden plate with the anchor bolts in the top of the neck columns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.7 Insert the bottom part of the anchor bolts inside the neck columns as per approved drawings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.8 After fixing the temporary wooden plates align, level and fix properly the anchor bolts as per approved drawings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.9 The surveyor has to check the alignment and the level of the anchor bolts after fixing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.10 The Engineer shall check the anchor bolts after fixing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">8.11 After Engineer approval cover the anchor bolts with masking tape protection before concreting.<\/p>\n<h3>9. Safety<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">9. All works shall comply with the safety instruction\/procedure as set out in<br \/>\nthe approved project HSE plan and all safety recommendations of local<br \/>\nauthorities shall be followed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">9.2 All works should comply with safety procedure\/instruction as set out in<br \/>\nproject safety plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">9.3 Basic PPE to be worn by all staff.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><em>What methodology do you use in the installation of anchor bolts?
